So in Pain My office - my Ex lecturer

My name is Gbenga Fakolujo I stay at Bashorun street in Igbogbo Ikorodu, Presently the challenge I  am battling with; is that with my office and my ex-lecturer; It was my final exams I wrote and came out in flying colors …I had A’s in all my courses except Mr. popoola’s course I had credit…I had to go to Mr. popoola and beg him to give me an A in his course but he refused, Mr. popoola was a very reserved and good man…he was known to never take a bribe and he mostly kicked against corruption.
My parents came to the school and with some senior lecturers we begged him and he refused. The matter got so critical and my parents kept begging him with some other lecturers…after much pleading he just called me and gave me an A. I was so happy, my parents bought lots of gift for his family and lots of money was given to him even though he never wanted it, he was forced to collect it for what he did. He said he did it to make me come out 1st class…
other lecturers thanked him and that’s how I was a first class single honor student.

Five years later I became the general branch manager of the most known and popular oil company in Lagos State. A vacancy of occupancy was needed in the company and the CEO called me and said the position was to be given to a person who was trustworthy and should never compromise no matter what…in other words, it was a very important post in the organization. On no basis should the position be given out of familiarity, or any form but the person should always stand his ground.

Several people had come for this position but weren’t qualified and I was the one interviewing them, it was on a Monday morning when my security called me an said a man came for the interview and I asked him in, I was working on my system when he knocked and I asked him to sit, I was still focusing on what I was doing in the system I  asked him to sit down and as soon as I was done I looked up only to see that it was Mr. popoola who came for the job interview, he was unable to remember me but I remembered him so well, I interviewed him he was okay for the job and I remembered he compromise by changing my grades, though he helped me years back but the job was for someone who would never compromise and I was given a strict  measure to follow with a disciplinary action…I told Mr. popoola to come back a week time, he left still not knowing it's me who he helped 5 yrs ago and the help he rendered is now what is disqualifying him…. I don’t know what to do, I love to give him this job because without him helping me back then I might not have gotten to where I am now, and the position he seeks is for someone who would and never have compromise .

If it was you what would you do, leave your comments below.Because right now am so confused. I also want to thank People Around Lagos for coming to me at the right time; maybe your suggestions can help me out.THANK YOU
