Ope leave me alone; How I found love in your friend

My Name is Gbenga Owoseni. I am a Mechanic in Ikorodu. I had a Girlfriend who was an undergraduate of Yabatech. she lived with her mother, (her father is late) and 2 sibling. she is the first child of her parent. I met her on the street of Lagos, shomolu precisely where I'd gone to return a car that was brought to me for repair.Yes,i am handsome but cannot speak english fluently. I schooled in my home town at Oyo state and then came to Lagos after my secondary school. so,my Oyo accent has taken over my English. she showed me so much love and care, I really fell in love with her because I couldn't believe that such girl from a prestigious polytechnic could love an ordinary mechanic like me. Though, I was earning quite some money and I could fend for her needs to some extent. Her mum knows me, even her siblings.

On several occasions I had given them money and bought a lot of things for them. I even paid their house rent and got her mum a shop. I was no longer a stranger to the family. I saw Ope as my future wife,so,I didn't hesitate to take care of her need and that of her family. Ope showed me off to her friends, she was really proud of me and I was proud of her too, my friend call her "Emi Oga"meaning the " soul of the boss".



Ope was in HND 1 when i noticed some changes in her attitude. My Ope that use to be calm, respectful and submissive now became the arrogant and disrespectful one. I called on her to ask if she was upset at something I had done wrong, I knelt down at their house gate, just to tell me her how remorseful I am for whatever offence i had committed.Ope insisted that I didn't offend her, after some minute we settled. The next day,she didn't pick my call again.  I went to her house,her mother told me she didn't come home from school.I went to her room(hostel)she stayed off campus, her friend said she wasn't around.I waited till night that day,i didn't return to Ikorodu.

Then she came later by 2 a.m in a car. A man had come to drop her. I asked who was that,she said it was her course mate and they had gone for a birthday party. As if that was not enough, she opened the door and I wanted to go in, she stopped me that I shouldn't go in, she said I could no longer sleep in the house that i rented for her because she was warned not to allow any man in.While we were dragging that,the same car that she alighted from,drove in,the guy stepped out of the car and headed toward us,he opened the door Instantly and they both went in immediately she closed the door,that was about 3:15am, I was almost losing it, I thought I was running mad. I couldn't believe what I had seen, I didn't know if I should cry or scream or break the door in.While crying, I slept off,the cock crow woke me up, it was 4:30am,i slept at the door mouth of my fiance' room.

The room I rented and furnished for her. Not so long that morning around 5 a.m, one of her school mate that live in the house came out and called me,she pitied me, and tried to calm me, she explained how my fiance has been bringing different men into the room. she said most times when I come  around and she pretend to be a loving fiance, she would be forced to call me and inform me of her waywardness but,something would tell her to keep quite.Not until I had seen it with my own eyes. This her schoolmate talked me over the issue that day,and I was able to go home around 7 a.m,my fiance and the guy friend has not come out then.I reported to her mum,she tried all she could do,her sibling also contributed but to no avail,she didn't heed to them.

Meanwhile the schoolmate and i became so close,she was a good friend. My fiance who was about to graduate from the polytechnic threatened that lady to stay away from me. I went to her to stop her madness because we are no more lovers,and why would she chase away the lady who has been showing concern for me after she left me for a guy with a car. she said she didn't leave me that she was only trying to challenge me to be a better person "what a crazy talk from a Crazy Person".I controlled my anger and left that day. Unknown to her the other lady has helped me processed my admission into YABATECH school of part time studies to study mechanical engineering. I was in ND 1 when my said fiance graduated. we have never met in the school before not until her convocation day that she discovered I was a student of YABATECH and already dating Tinuke (her schoolmate that lived in her compound) she got mad at me and started calling me names, she even called me a "BETRAYAL",can you imagine?

Tinuke is in HND 1 and Was even from a wealthy home, I didn't  have to spend on her like I did to Ope who later betrayed my love for her.
Please tell me, did I do wrong by dating Tinuke? I did not even plan to date her,but she's been so supportive, she's so interested in my growth. she's a full time student of computer science, so many times she put me through how to operate a system, when her parent bought an apple laptop for her, she gave me the old one she was using. This is a girl i have never spent a dime for,compared to Ope that i sacrificed so much for, who didn't even think of impacting in me. Right now I am happy with my new loving girlfriend and Ope want to kill herself on top of me (lol). she is so disturbed seeing me with my new girl.
