She Gave Up On The High Ways

In this place called earth where people exist, even though we are all people of same physical features; the neglect, pain, fears, the racism is highly uncalled for, where discrimination is the order of the day. I Been born into a family where I didn’t get to see the man who calls himself my father, who actually maybe somewhere far or near, who may probably get to know today that am still alive even if he will hear today that the woman he planted me it is gone to rest, heartless that i can't understand why he should let a poor woman who couldn’t fend for herself to fend for me and my 2 siblings and as the world may have it the load was
too much for her she couldn’t stand it,she gave up on the high ways trying to sought for fortune for I and my siblings. Months after her death I lost my younger brother who was two years.

I hope that my struggles to make it become reality and not to end up like my mum that has to give up after the struggles. I really want to make it. I know that little education to unveil my deemed mind will go a long way and I can live that life I have always dreamed of and not leaving my only bro behind. A few years from now I hope I make it. hustling every day hawking round the street of Lagos….hoping to make it no matter how tough, I keep pressing am not giving up I know for sure someday soon I will smile and I will come up here to give you the gist, and I will also keep praying for you that you live long to see and hear my testimony.
